Is that what I look like?
I'm making up for lost time. Two in one day. Have you ever seen anyone out and about and wondered, do I look like that? Well Monday this is exactly what happened to me. We were running errands and I saw this lady in the parking lot. She was wearing an old navy t-shirt, which I happen to have, cargo shorts, and flip flops. Now don't get me wrong she didn't look bad or anything the outfit just didn't really have much style. It was fine for a hot summer day, and what I pretty much wear on a regular basis. I took a second look and decided I need to put more effort into my outfits, or as my friend Stacie introduced me to the phrase, is this an outfit or a garb? This is what her Mom use to say. She would also say, "I try to put myself together every morning, even if I'm planning on working in the yard. It makes me feel like I'm not poor." Not that she was poor or anything, but I think she has a point. I often delay getting ready for the day in my to do list is a long list of cleaning or yard work. I've decided I would be better off if I put a little more effort into my appearance earlier in the day, I think my day would start off better and I would probably be more productive. As my friend Holly at work said the other day, "People, really do you even look in the mirror before you leave the house?" I've decided I really don't want to be one of those people. I've been scouring the online stores for some "outfits" so I can quit wearing garbs all the time. Garbs definitely have there place but I no longer want my entire wardrobe to be garbs. Wish me luck and if anyone would like to nominate me for What Not To Wear, maybe we could split the cash? Thanks Nicole and Jess for being my inspiration to attain more style.

Celebrating Seven Years

I can hardly believe it. Seven years and three children later. It makes me wonder what the next seven years will bring. Life just seems to keep getting better. The time flies and I'm learning the importance of making the most of each moment we share with loved ones. I truly believe that before I know it my kids will be grown and gone and so the importance of building a strong relationship with Jeremy is all so important. We have had some bumps along the road, but I believe we are better for them. I'm sure the next seven will be even better. I love you Jeremy and am looking forward to making many more memories with you.

Things I love!
I will be copying my sister, Jessica on this one.
- American Idol. I have been a fan since season 1. I haven't watched every season faithfully, but I'm hooked to this one and think one of the David's will win. It is so fun to see people living out their wildest dreams. Also I love Simon Cowell, I think he is dreamy.
- Ice cream with hot fudge sauce. I have a great recipe for hot fudge, and Jeremy makes it all the time, as he loves ice cream even more than I do. Lexie also loves it.
- Family, they are so funny. My Dad is starting a blog and I'm very excited about it. He is the funniest guy I know. I'm grateful to have sisters, a fun Mom, and brothers. I also love being a wife and mother.
- Gardening, I've talked about this before.
- Boating. I love feeling the sun beat down on me, the wind in my face the, spray of water, skiing. I grew up boating, and can't wait to one day take my own kids boating. We'll wait till the risk of drowning has decreased some.
- Good Books
- Mountain Dew, and Crystal light classic orange, it reminds me of Tang. Who doesn't love Tang?
- Summer Thunder Storms
- Naps

- Cherry Hill. I'm sure my sisters are laughing at this, but I love it. It is great to have kids so I have an excuse to go swimming. I think I like it even more than they do.
- A clean house, especially the kitchen. I use to tell Andrew when he was a baby and I would clean the kitchen, " The kitchen is the heart of the home." If the Kitchen is clean it seems easier to keep all other areas clean as well.
- Homemade lemonade. It is loaded with sugar but very tasty.
Well that is just a few and I started this post quite awhile ago so it is a little dated
.
